Strange things began to occure all around the accursed island known as Lodoss, and a young man named Parn set out to become a knight and help combat this great evil. Parn soon found himself allied with many companions, and friends. But as his journey continued and the fate of Lodoss lay in his hands, Parn found that the line between good and evil is not as well defined as he thought.

Comments - I have read a few fantasy books in my time and I must say that I never have seen any motion pictures that would do a book justice or surpass a book. Nor did I ever expect too...but I found one! This series is beautifully done with the quality to capture your imagination, and it retains the feel of an epic novel (which I've never seen done before). I doubt I'll ever read the novels, and why should I? I don't think that they could be any better than the anime! The story involves well... a lot of things which would take me forever to explain. ( I do however; have a page on Lodoss War, which explains the plot). I highly recommend this series!
